Comcast Cares Day

Over the weekend, my nephew & I volunteered with a few friends for Comcast Cares Day to help build Freedom Playground in Havertown.

Freedom Playground is custom-designed to include children with disabilities, so that every child has a chance to play :) Over the course of the day, we shoveled rocks, carried lumber, organized fence posts engraved with donors' names and painted a roof for one of the towers.

But the REALLY fun part for me, was having the chance to see some of the murals in process, as well as the unfinished elephant cut-out (which I wanted to paint giant polka dots on - lol - but I resisted the urge)
